UPDATE: We are now accepting donations on Thursdays and Sundays only. Your appointment includes a staff-guided sorting session to ensure expediency on getting materials out into the shop. We ask that you please take your bins and boxes home with you, we've got plenty!

Donations are accepted by appointment only.

Please read all information below and view a list of acceptable and non-acceptable items for our creative reuse center by visiting our Donation Guide. We make every effort to keep these guidelines up to date.

Please know that we value every offer of materials, but we will not always be able to accept the entirety of your donation. To stay true to our sustainability goals, we only take items that are safe, usable, and within our capacity to responsibly manage. Thanks for your understanding!

How to make a Material Donation:

Business Donors: Interested in donating excess materials or scraps? Email us at donations@upcyclepartsshop.org before scheduling an appointment to discuss your donation.

Individual Donors: You can bring up to three banker-sized boxes (12.5” x 16.3” x 10.5”) of secondhand creative supplies per visit. During your appointment, we will help you sort and weigh your materials. If you need assistance due to physical limitations, please let us know—we're happy to help! For a smooth process, please read our Donation Guide before scheduling.

Scheduling: Use the calendar below to view available appointment slots within the next 60 days. If the calendar shows “no appointments available,” it means we’re fully booked at the moment. We strive to accommodate as many donors as possible, so please check back later for new slots as cancellations are made. Thank you for your patience!

If you can't schedule with us, consider other options like the Cuyahoga County “Pass It On” Book, local “Buy Nothing” groups, or recycling your materials when appropriate.

Important: Donations without an appointment will not be accepted. Leaving items outside is considered illegal dumping.
